No. The AMP Bank app is only available to customers who open an Everyday Account or Everyday Business Account. Access Accounts, Savings Accounts, Term Deposits, SMSF Accounts, Home loans, Offsets, and AMP Super and investments will continue to be managed in My AMP web and app.
It’s totally up to you! If you’re ready to dive into the future of banking, then joining and opening a new account is easy. If you’re not quite ready, that’s okay too – you can continue using your Access Account in My AMP web and app.

If you’re an existing customer and want to sign up to new the banking experience, you’ll need to download the new AMP Bank app. Think of it like upgrading your money toolkit! You can still use the My AMP app for your existing accounts alongside the new one.

No, the AMP Bank app and My AMP apps operate separately. But don’t worry – you can still use the My AMP app if you want to.
Not quite. You’ll need to open your shiny new Everyday personal or business account yourself. It only takes a few minutes – just have your photo ID and selfie skills ready!

If you have existing AMP Bank products that you manage through the My AMP app or web, you can continue to access these as you do today through My AMP.
If you’d like to experience the benefits of AMP Bank’s new mobile banking experience and transactional account products – the Everyday Account for personal banking and Everyday Business Account for business banking, you’ll need to download and open these products through the AMP Bank app (they’re not available through the My AMP app or My AMP online banking platform).
There is no change to your My AMP accounts. Whether you decide to sign up to an account via the AMP Bank app as well, or continue banking with the current experience, everything will remain the same.
Yes. To help spot the difference between your AMP Bank accounts, products serviced through the new AMP Bank app will use BSB: 939-900 and have a new account number.

The AMP Bank app is digital access only so we're not able to mail you copies of your statements. There’s no emailing or paper – it’s all done in the mobile app. The great news is that you can generate your statements anytime, right from the app! If you're stuck and can't access the app, then please call us on 1800 950 105 or send us an email to help@ampbank.com.au.
There are no joining fees.
To make for easy transfers between My AMP (app and online banking) and the AMP Bank app, you can set up your new AMP Bank account as a payee in My AMP (app and online banking), and vice-versa.
As AMP Bank and My AMP apps use different platforms, transfers can sometimes take up to 24 hours.

Joint accounts and savings accounts are coming soon to the new AMP Bank experience (mid 2025!). For now, you can both open your own individual accounts in the AMP Bank app and continue managing your joint accounts via My AMP app.
Savings and term deposits are coming soon to the new AMP Bank app. You can still apply for these accounts now via My AMP app – you’ll just follow a slightly different application process and you’ll only be able to access your savings and term deposit accounts via My AMP app. They won’t be available on your AMP Bank app.
Home loans and offset accounts are not available through the new AMP Bank app. To apply for a home loan please visit our home loan page or talk to one of our friendly lending specialists. It’s also easy to apply for a home loan online at amp.com.au/home-loans.
We don’t currently support third party access. However, we're actively working on expanding access options for accountants, bookkeepers, and more soon.
If you don't have a PayID yet, you can set one up in the AMP Bank app (a feature not available with the My AMP app and My AMP online banking platform). If you have a PayID already set-up that’s linked to another bank account, you’ll need to first de-register that PayID account before you can connect your PayID to your preferred AMP Bank app account, as each mobile number or email address can only be registered to one bank account.
You'll need to set up your payees and billers in the AMP Bank app. To make this easier, head to your My AMP app and take note of the payees and billers you’d like to use in the AMP Bank app.
Payments into your account: If you’d like to use your AMP Bank app accounts as your primary account/s, it’s important to let anyone that currently credits or debits your existing My AMP account/s know your updated account details (a reminder that your AMP Bank app account details will always start with BSB: 939 900).
Direct debits from your account: This also applies to any existing direct-debits set up through your My AMP accounts that you’d now like to manage through your AMP Bank app accounts, as well as any existing, reoccurring payments from your Visa debit card (linked to your My AMP app/online banking account/s) that you’d now like to manage through your new Mastercard (linked to your AMP Bank app account/s).
