TMD

    Banking Target Market Determinations

Find out whether our bank accounts and home loans were designed with people like you in mind.

Design and Distribution Obligations (DDO) took effect 5 October 2021 to help retail customers choose suitable products.

We’ve kept these documents as simple as possible – each TMD is 3 to 4 pages, follows a standard structure and describes:

    1. the intended customer
    2. conditions for distribution of the product to the customer
    3. situations triggering review of the TMD and
    4. any related reporting requirements for distributors

    Terms and conditions apply

Available at amp.com.au/bankterms or by calling 13 30 30. Fees and charges are payable. In many cases a conditional approval will be provided immediately after submission. The time to receive a full unconditional approval will vary. Where only identification is required, an immediate response to our SMS to complete this could result in an unconditional approval within an hour. Unconditional approval could take longer if we need to seek clarifications from you, or if we need to undertake a physical inspection of your property. The speed of response is also dependant on the time a second applicant takes to confirm their application details, and for all applicants to complete the biometric ID check.
