AMP Cash Manager rates & fees

The interest rate you receive will depend on how much you have in your account. Interest accrues daily and is paid on the first day of the following month².

There are no monthly account fees or transaction fees and you don’t need to maintain a specific monthly balance.

Here's an example of how it works:

If the month in which the interest is calculated has 30 days, and your balance is $5,000 at the close of business for the first 15 days and $15,000 for the remainder, then the interest you’ll receive on the first day of the next month is as follows:

Offset Deposit Account rates & fees

The Offset Deposit Account does not charge everyday banking fees, so you have unlimited access to:

internet and phone banking
BPAY to pay your bills
AMP Bank variable rate loan products (Construction and Land Loans excluded).

No interest is payable on the Offset Deposit Account, as all your funds work to reduce the amount of interest you pay on your eligible home loan. Deposits over $5,000,000 are at our discretion.

If the Offset Deposit Account is linked to a Basic Variable Rate Loan, there is a $6 per month Account fee.

The AMP Business Saver Account earns interest calculated daily and paid monthly.

Deposit into your account as often as you like using online, mobile or phone transfers from a linked transaction account. This can be an AMP Access Accountopens in a new tab or another external account.

No account-keeping fees apply to AMP Bank’s Term Deposits. Instead you will earn interest paid at interims you select or on maturity, depending on the term you choose for your term deposit. You may open as many term deposits as you like each with a different term or invested amount. You will receive your interest earnings at the end of the term or, if you would like to be paid more frequently, at a slightly lower rate on terms of one year or more. You can receive those earnings every month, every three months or every six months instead of annually. For example, here are the interest payment options on terms of one year or more:

(ii) Only available where interest is paid electronically into a nominated account with AMP Bank or another financial institution and no bank cheque is issued. Where interest is paid annually, the first interest payment is made after 12 months and the second interest payment is made at maturity.

(iii) Quarterly and half-yearly interest payment options are not available.

(iv) These rates apply to Direct customers (those who have applied for the product directly through AMP Bank) only. If you acquired the product through an intermediary, please contact your intermediary for current interest rates.

There are no limits on the deposits you can make by electronic transfer from your AMP Bank or external account.
