Portfolio holdings explained
We publish portfolio holdings information for the investment options we offer within 90 days of the effective dates - 31 December and 30 June each year.
Here’s how it works:
Your super or pension is invested into a range of assets and derivatives (also known as holdings), which are then classified according to their kind.
The different kinds of assets include their asset class, whether they’re listed or unlisted, and for unlisted assets whether they’re managed internally by AMP group companies or externally (for example, a managed fund or other investment vehicle).

Total value: $7,3000,000.00
Total value represents 100% of the investment option value within the super fund.
Effective on 1st Dec 2021.

Understanding the download
All portfolio holdings information available for the investment option can be downloaded in a single CSV file as a continuous list. Each individual portfolio holding item is shown as a separate row and data points like table and column headers and totals for values (AUD) and weightings (%) are represented in the relevant columns across multiple rows in the file. Totals should be read in isolation and not be added together.
FAQs
Why is AMP publishing this information?
Disclosure of portfolio holdings promotes transparency across the superannuation industry for members, advisers and other industry participants.
We publish this information within 90 days of the reporting dates - 31 December and 30 June - each year.
What is included in the information?
The portfolio holdings information for an investment option is grouped by the kind of assets and derivatives held and shows the value and weighting of each.
The different kinds of assets include their asset class, whether they’re listed or unlisted, and for unlisted assets whether they’re managed internally by AMP group companies or externally (for example, a managed fund or other investment vehicle).
Information is also provided to show the effect of any derivatives held on both the actual asset allocation and currency exposure of the investment option.
Why are there different disclosures for the same investment option in both super and pension products?
Portfolio holdings information for the same investment option available in both super and pension products within the AMP Super Fund may be different.
This is due to the timing of underlying portfolio trading activity, different tax treatments as well as different cash holdings for liquidity purposes.
This difference does not apply to Super Cash and Term Deposit investment options as the portfolio holdings are the same for both super and pension products for these investment options.
Is information published for all investment options?
We haven’t included information for the AMP Secure Growth and AMP Secure Growth Plus investment options offered in the AMP Super Fund. This is because portfolio holdings information isn’t required to be published for investment options with a capital guarantee.
What is not included in these disclosures?
The information we’ve provided may be summarised for disclosure purposes. It may not represent a complete ‘look-through’ to each underlying holding of the investment option.
Where assets are externally managed, we have grouped the underlying asset values by the name of the fund manager, or in the case of fixed income assets that are internally managed, by the issuer or counterparty.
Further, the values and weightings of unlisted assets that are managed internally are not shown for individual investment items, only the total for each asset class.
How are assets and derivative values determined?
Asset and derivative values are determined in line with industry standards.
Foreign currency exposure is converted to Australian Dollars (AUD) using the foreign exchange rates on the reporting date.
Why don’t the Weighting (%) amounts shown add to the Total shown?
There may be small differences between the sum of the individual weighting percentages and the total weighting percentage displayed as these amounts are rounded to two decimal places.
Why is the download file in a CSV format?
A CSV file format is provided for ease of analysis.
