Labelling change to Ongoing Advice Fees
    Feb 2023

We’re renaming the ‘Ongoing Advice Fee’ to ‘Fixed Term Advice Fee’ to better describe this fee arrangement that is paid monthly and has a maximum term of 12 months and a fixed start and end date.  This change only impacts the ‘Ongoing Advice Fee’ label and there is no change to the labelling of the ‘One-off Advice Fee’.  If you have this arrangement in place, you will see the fixed term advice fee labelling in your super account transactions list and annual statements from 18 February 2023.  This change will be reflected in SignatureSuper’s Product Disclosure Statement on 1 July 2023.

    Re-reporting of 2020/21 super balance & contributions
    Feb 2022

A group of AMP super members may receive a DIV293 notice from the Australian Tax Office (ATO) regarding AMP’s re-reporting of their 2020/21 super balance and contributions. The DIV293 is an additional tax based on super balance and contributions. It is managed via the ATO using our June 30 reporting.

The re-reporting occurred due to the changes to AMP super balances following recent product updates. Members may receive an adjusted DIV293 assessment from the ATO indicating they have zero debt and are eligible for a refund – this is incorrect. Members will receive a corrected assessment over the next few weeks with the revised figures. If you have any questions, please call AMP on 131 267 or book a chat with a super coach.
