Fund details
SouthPeak Investment Management employs a proprietary, systematic investment approach that focuses on harvesting attractive and differentiated alpha and protection from global volatility markets. The fund's strategy involves holding cash and buying and selling equity index options and futures that are liquid and listed on major global exchanges. This combination of income generation and strong risk management is designed to capture upside while protecting against downside.
About the manager
SouthPeak is the investment manager for the Fund’s exposure to systematic volatility strategies and is responsible for strategy design, portfolio construction and the buying and selling of the Fund’s underlying investments. Founded in 2010, SouthPeak is a specialist volatility manager with significant experience researching, designing and implementing derivatives strategies on behalf of institutional Australian and global clients. It aims to provide investors with differentiated investment strategies to deliver attractive performance, capturing upside while protecting against downside.

The Fund's risk band and risk label are based on an estimation that the number of negative annual returns over any 20-year period would be within the range of 4 to less than 6.
