    Interest rates and fees

The interest rate you receive will depend on how much you have in your account. Interest accrues daily and is paid on the first day of the following month2

    Effective date

Your account balance Your interest rate
    $0 - $10,000 % pa
    $10,000.01 - $250,000 % pa
    $250,000.01 - $5,000,000 % pa
    Greater than $5,000,000 % pa

Here’s an example of how it works. If the month in which the interest is calculated has 30 days, and your balance is $5,000 at the close of business for the first 15 days and $15,000 for the remainder, then the interest you’ll receive on the first day of the next month is as follows:

Tier Account Balance Days the funds sat in the account in the month Interest rate How interest is calculated Interest paid
    $0 - $10,000 $5,000 15 % pa $5,000 x % / 365 x 15
    $10,000.01 - $250,000 $15,000 15 % pa $15,000 x % / 365 x 15
    Total interest paid
