What discharge options are available?
Full discharge: Request to discharge security as AMP loan will be (or has been) repaid.
Partial discharge: Request to release one of the securities on an AMP Loan where there are multiple properties held as security for the loan.
Substitution of security: Request to replace an existing security with another security.
How long will it take to process a discharge request?
The indicative processing time to discharge a loan is 15 business days.
Does AMP charge a discharge fee?
AMP Bank charge a $390 discharge fee*, as well as the Land Title Office (LTO) which varies by state.
*Note: $390 discharge fee is not applicable for AMP First loans.
How do I discharge from AMP?
You will need to complete a Mortgage discharge authority form. This will ask you about your property, the key people involved, and the loan account details. It will also provide you with details on lender fees and any government charges you will face when you finalise your exit application.
